1. What the service is
Camping Scout helps users monitor availability in third-party booking systems and send email alerts when matching inventory appears.
Camping Scout is not a booking agent, does not make reservations for you, and is not affiliated with the third-party booking providers it monitors.
2. What you are paying for
Paid access covers best-effort monitoring and alerting. It does not buy guaranteed availability, guaranteed alert delivery, guaranteed detection of every opening, or guaranteed booking success.
Polling cadence is approximate. Provider changes, outages, rate limits, or delivery delays may affect results.
Camping Scout may offer both fixed-term passes and auto-renewing subscriptions. Passes end automatically. Subscriptions continue until canceled.
3. Your account and watcher use
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, watcher settings, and alert email.
You must use the service lawfully and must not attempt to abuse, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service or the third-party systems it depends on.
Plan limits, including watcher-count and cadence limits, may be enforced in the app.
4. Third-party dependencies
Camping Scout depends on third-party booking systems, hosting, and email-delivery providers. Those systems can change or fail in ways Camping Scout does not control.
If a provider changes its structure, blocks access, or becomes unavailable, Camping Scout may pause or degrade until compatibility is restored.
5. Billing, credits, and refunds
No refund is due just because no matching availability appeared during your paid period.
Meaningful, sustained paid-service interruption may result in pro-rata credits or refunds. Short incidents do not automatically qualify.
Free and beta access may change or end without refund because those tiers are not paid service.
When paid access ends, Camping Scout may pause affected watchers while preserving their settings for later review or reactivation.
6. Changes and termination
Camping Scout may change pricing, features, plan limits, or these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Camping Scout may suspend or terminate abusive, fraudulent, or harmful use of the service.
