Missed out on a campsite? We will tell you when one opens up.

Pick a campground and your dates. Camping Scout keeps checking the booking pages for the ACT, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria, and emails you when a site comes free.

Your first watcher is free.

How it works

Set it up once, then stop refreshing the booking page.

01

Pick a campground

The whole campground, or only the sites you want.

02

Add your dates

Check-in, check-out and how many of you are going.

03

Wait for the email

When a matching site opens, we email you a link to book it.

Watching

A whole campground, or just the sites you want

Missed release day? Watch the campground for any cancellation, or narrow it to the few sites you would actually take.

Alerts

An email with the booking link, and a record of every check

Each alert names the campground, your dates and the sites that opened. Your account shows when we last checked and what we found.

The fine print

What it can and cannot do.

Checks

Checks run on a schedule

Free plans check about once a day. Paid plans check every 4 to 8 hours. It is not real time, and we will not pretend it is.

Bookings

An alert is not a booking

It means a site was free when we checked. Someone else can book it first, so move quickly. We never book for you.

Testing

Try it before you rely on it

Verify your email, then send yourself a sample alert from Settings. Cancel any time.

Who is it for?

People who missed release day, or want a shot at cancellations without refreshing the booking page every morning.

What is in an alert?

The campground, your dates, the sites that opened and a link to the booking page. You book it yourself.
